Methodology
How winners are selected
Companies are sourced from editor nominations, reader submissions, and public signal. Each is scored on four weighted axes: product momentum and shipping cadence; evidence of customer traction; category clarity and differentiation; and team depth. Scores are reviewed by two editors independently, then ranked. Companies pay nothing to be considered or listed. Paid features are always labelled and never affect placement.
